When negotiations ended in late June between PSTA and the District, the out-of-pocket costs for PPO insurance remained in effect. It was decided at that time to create another window of opportunity for teachers who wanted to change insurance to avoid these costs.

 

If you decide to remain on the PPO plan, you will be paying $45.50 a month ($455 year) starting with your first pay warrant. If you switched to another plan and want to return to PPO, you may also make that switch at this time.

 

The Open Enrollment Window is

August 10 - 21, 2009

and 

September 14 - 18, 2009.

 

In order to change insurance plans you will need to visit the Risk Management offices in the district office. This office is now in a new location. They have recently moved downstairs and are a part of the Human Resources department, suite 105.

 

Their hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. While no appointment is necessary, your signature is required to complete change forms. All changes made during this period will be effective 10/01/09.
